I am writing about my activities for this week. On the 22nd, we will be holding an opening salvo of the 100th Foundation Anniversary of my Alma Mater. Registration will start as early as 6 p.m. and the program proper at 7. We are expecting a lot of alumni to come and enjoy the event.
I have to prepare my welcome address and to write and print a letter to the Chief of Police asking for security assistance on that evening. Another task is to write and print a letter to the Municipal Mayor asking for favor if it would be possible for us to borrow extra monoblock chairs and tables from their office. Also there are a lot of printable certificates to make. Certificates of appreciations to be given to a few retired teachers and to some outstanding alumni.
We have created 4 committees for the event for
- physical arrangement
- security
- food and drinks
- program
.
As president of the Alumni Association, I am hopeful that this event will become a success.
Much to my surprise, yesterday my husband and I received an invitation to become principal sponsors to the wedding of the daughter of my best friend. And the date is- 22nd of this month at 2p.m. Whew and heck! I can only laugh at that because honestly we cannot refuse this invitation.
So I have to really perfect my time management this week. As early as now, I have to accomplish all tasks I could during the day. So bye for now and hope the good Lord bless me extra strength to accomplish my work. After all, life is beautiful.
