Once again the Yuletide season is upon us. It’s just around us as the Christmas season gives the idea of gifts-giving and happy family reunions and gatherings.
My cousin, Armie and her family, live in Miami and it’s been so long we haven’t met each other. She and her family will spend a short vacation with us soon. When we were young, she and I used to play in their beautiful garden. We had happy childhood memories together.
I am just a couple of hours of plane-ride away from Armie. This Christmas holidays, she will bring along her husband and her kid to spend a three-day break with us. This early, she has meticulously arranged their schedules already. From their home, so as not to create hassles of taking taxis, they will take along their car to the airport and leave it in the MCO Parking lot until they return after three days. Anyway, it will not cost them much and they are assured that their car will be in good hands. For sure they will “travel light” but I believe she has prepared her gifts for her loved ones and families as early as October.
Not even a hard-up economy can prevent people from traveling this Christmas. Amie’s visit to us with her family will surely brighten our Yuletide Season.
Advance merry Christmas to all!
