After the storm the sun shines brightly!

♦

Late one night, my cell phone rang. On the other end of the line was my bestfriend, Leah, who opted to reside in Houston, Texas with her husband because both of them found a stable job there. The couple have been residing there for almost 3 years now.

“I hate to bother you at this time of the night but the rain creates flash floods across Houston Area now,” said Leah. I could still recall, that was in July last year. After a heavy afternoon downpour there were street flooding in the many areas. We really saw in our monitor the warnings of road closures, updates on water levels, flight information and more regarding the flash floods. The rain was being fueled in part by the hurricane, Alex.

As a result of rapidly rising water over a short period of time, the underpass was experiencing higher than usual water levers and has been shut down. Alternate routes have been marked. The people were advised to stay off the roads if possible until the weather settled down.

The calamity badly affected the areas. Houston water damage service was there to give help immediately. It is just a phone call away. Houston water damage service crews are experienced and are fully equipped to help in any situation from a major flood disorder to homes which need light damage repairs including water extraction, carpet flood repairs, etc.

In times of calamities, we need to be strong. After all, after the storm the sun shines brightly.
