First of all, there are a lot of choices of what to read, not only on internet but also on books and magazines. Definitely, there’s no shortage of reading materials more so in these times of high information technology. However, although most people have easy access on computers but who has the time to browse all day?
I am really passionate about this blogging, ah I mean – reading. With lots of free time to read, I can share simple information I got from what I have read that might be beneficial to anyone. Sometimes, a little reminder may mean a lot- and might save life ( and that life might be yours, Lol)!
1. Here’s a better way to be safe and secure on the road: ” We know, you don’t text and drive, but do you text and walk? Focusing on a visual task impairs your hearing which means that texting while walking may be dangerous! For example, if you text while crossing the street, you may not hear a car approaching because your brain ignores sounds unrelated to what your eyes are focused on.”
2. Want to sharpen your memory? Here’s one memory booster, a retrieval drill which will require us to remember a series of information…
“Once a day, watch 5 cars go by, noting the colors. After 5pass, do something else engaging for 30 seconds. Then try to remember the sequence and the colors of the cars.”
3. Sleep like a baby! “In a study, men who napped for 45 minutes in a slowly rocking bed fell asleep faster than when napping on a regular sleep. Rocking may make you feel relaxed and the motion itself sends signals to the brain regions that help induce sleep.”
4.” Men who eat 15 ounces of broccoli a week may have a lower prostate cancer risk than men who don’t. Tomatoes, a good source of cancer-fighting compounds called lycopenes, and pomegranate juice, rich in anthocyanin are also thought to have tumor-suppressing qualities.”
Thanks for reading.
