Mess no more

♦

I like things done in my own certain ways. They used to say that I am a revealer because I usually “bring to view” (that is the definition of the word reveal) the things in my house. Now, I changed my organizing style to that of a concealer (or one who keeps them all away from being seen).

Actually, I had my kitchen renovated recently and it reflected the change in my preference from being a revealer to a concealer. I have lots of stuff in my kitchen since I love cooking and baking but I realized that they looked so unorganized. Before, as a revealer, I liked all of my things lined up or hanged openly on walls so I can quickly find what I am looking for. Now, I have large cabinets with enough drawers and shelves to contain all my cooking and baking utensils.

My next project will be the bathrooms because I believe that they are as important as kitchens. I probably will install more built-in cabinets and shelves, with waterproof and opaque covers for keeping my bath linens and accessories such as bath and body soaps, toothpastes and tissue papers. Additional lighting fixtures won’t hurt too.

But will need to set aside a budget for that. For now, I’m just glad that my kitchen is “mess no more.”
