Preggy, the second time around

♦

Congratulations to my eldest daughter and to her hubby! They are happily expecting their second child.

During pregnancy, the human body produces excessive secretions of hormones by the placenta and by the corpus luteum. Naturally, there are  physical and physiological changes in the body. These changes might cause difficulty, irritation and anxiousness to the pregnant mother. In order to avoid possible discomforts during pregnancy, it is important to understand your body’s response to pregnancy.

With the enlargement of her stomach, my daughter looks for more comfortable, loose, light and of course, stylish apparel. So she surfs for women’s silk pants and women’s size 18 doupioni pants gold. ( Size 20 is a rough translation to waist=32inches. She’s 2 months pregnant now.) She avoids activities which over strain and does not carry heavy objects. To raise her legs for about 5-10 minutes several times in a day to avoid the formation of varicose veins and swelling of her feet or edema, she has an off white bar stools with birch- finish legs and removable, washable cloth covers. The height can be adjusted with ease.

Pregnancy, the second time around does have its differences. Every pregnancy is different inasmuch as the second baby is a different child and will have unique talents and characteristics of her or his own. Children are God’s gifts to us. So, enjoy this pregnancy my dear daughter. Georyl is thrilled to have another sibling. I am so happy for you. God bless.
