I was used to taking vitamin E supplements for some time as I have known that it is a popular antioxidant that fights free radicals; that as an antioxidant, it slows down aging and has been widely advocated for preventing heart diseases, cancer, and so on and so forth…
However, as I read and then read some more articles, news have not been encouraging- “Although the risks remains relatively small, researches have discovered that taking Vitamin E supplements increased the risk of hemorrhagic stroke (in which bleeding occurs in the brain) by 22%, but reduced the risk of ischemic stroke (in which blood flow to the brain is blocked) by 10%.”
So,let us be cautious against the indiscriminate widespread use of this supplement. Anyway, one can get the daily recommended dosage by eating fresh fruits and vegetables. The natural way is much better.
