The “fine job” of judging fights

♦

The questionable result of the  latest bout of Pacquiao and Bradley irked me a lot.

I have never been a boxing fan. I never had great interest on watching boxing bouts (because I feel bad  seeing someone badly hurt physically).

Last June 9th was a Sunday and I was supposed to have a radio program at 11:00 o’clock in the morning. I was already in the station when I was told by the technician that they went off-the-air. So , I decided to stay behind and watched the bout. Definitely, the split -decision win of the undefeated American created a big ” grrr!!!” to the audience as well as to myself. Who else but the audience can give a very fine job of judging fights…

Lately, the WBO commisioned five international judges (to re-score the bout) who scored the bout in Pacquiao’s favor. For me, it was a nice move but to watch a re-match will never get a nod for me. Not again…

May I ask the NSAC to find different officials who could do better in judging fights? Let’s be fair.
