Three years back, in 2009, I became a grandmother for the first time. I had my last delivery in 1986 so my first granddaughter came when I had (26) long years without small babies to take care of in the home. (Though that gave me enough time to continue my career and my business.) With great excitement , I had to travel across the miles to see my first grandchild.
At present, I have already three lovable and adorable grandchildren. I again have to travel abroad just to see my third grandchild . I want to have as many as possible of happy memories of my time with them. As I spend the days with my grandchildren, life has become more rewarding and enjoyable. That is the joy of being a grandma! ( I can afford to abandon a day’s work . Back home we have to replace our sliding windows so my children tried to facilitate the work through the replacement windows newport news.)
Happy childhood memories with my grandma and grandpa? Well, I have none because my parents lost their parents so early in life. That is why I want my grandchildren to have happy childhood memories with their grandma. Unlike me.
