After more than 6 months away, I had the chance again to host our radio program last Sunday- The Family and Life Apostolate Hour. This program goes on the air in the morning of a Sunday from 10:45 to 11:45. Funny because before we start, I felt oblivious on what keys to touch in the beginning and was not aware that the microphone was above my head. That’s my price for being away for so long. (LOL- By the way, we go on live- streaming.)
With me, as my guests were a couple- Joe and Babe, and a mother- Nening. We had to discuss our personal reflections on how, as parents, we respond to God , who offered unconditional love and affection. The Gospel challenges us to spread His message of peace and mercy to the world especially to a family.
Joe and Babe explained the formation of BEC- Basic Ecclesial Community called “cells”. Leaders of these cells will lead and shepherd their small groups toward the improvement of spiritual aspect especially of our family life. Nening elaborated that being an apostolate entails a lot of perseverance and patience.
We had made a lot of discussions in the program and the very one thing that was instilled in my mind even after the program was a father’s message shared on the air. Joe said, ” the greatest gift I can give my children is – my love to their mother.”
I agree. Moreover, for me- the greatest security blanket we, as parents, can provide our children are “PARENTS WHO RESPECT EACH OTHER”!
