Is Christmas time over?
Today is the 3rd day of the new year and most of us may have removed all Christmas decors from our house. But wait! There is but one thing which came into my mind about this celebration. The song “Twelve Days of Christmas” is one carol which my 3-year old grandchild just learned and loved during this holidays. As we know, this song enumerates a series of increasingly grand gifts given on each of the “12 days of Christmas”. So to count, the 12 days started on Christmas day, the 25th, and until the eve of the Epiphany, January 6th. Well for us Christians, the “span” of Christmas time is not that important. For somehow, it is not only on the 25th but all the year through that we live the spirit of Christmas.
By now, we have just welcomed the new year and maybe some of us are still in our celebratory environment surrounded by our family or loved ones. Whether our goal is to spend more quality time with them, we all need to build a momentum to achieve whatever goal we want to achieve. So goodbye 2012 and may this year 2013 become a fresh start for new and better you.
