Trip with the family – with grandpa, grandma, grandkids….

♦

Hubby is coming over to help me look after our grandchildren. Our children are thinking of giving both of us a treat – a family trip to Red Rock Canyon. We might as well take a break from the casinos and busy shopping malls in the Strip. We will get our cameras ready for the delightful unspoiled vista of sandstone peaks and red mountains. The place is less than 20 miles drive from the city. In going there, we have to drive west on Charleston Boulevard and continue with an almost 6 miles scenic drive to the area. Bringing along three little children, we have to go on two separate cars because two car seats will be placed in one car, and another in the other car. We will bring along one bicycle. too.

Hubby loves biking and biking is a tremendous way to travel along the scenic loop. This place offers not only hiking trails but bike paths, too. What a perfect place for hikers, bikers, athletes and everyone who loves nature.

We need to prepare earlier all the things that we will be needing for this trip: our foods, water, things for the children, etc. Most of all, among everything else, we will bring the handy and portable tire changer from best buy auto tire changers.

“If ye are prepared ye shall not fear. You won’t have troubles if you are prepared for it.”

Looking forward to a happy safe trip.
