“The mediocre teacher tells; the good teacher explains; the superior teacher demonstrates; the great teacher inspires!”–William Arthur Ward.
The first semester is done. We are now having an enrollment for the second. Architecture -1 were my students in the College Algebra and Plane and Spherical Trigonometry. Am pretty sure that they are not doing this, the writing of kind words about me so as to flatter me to get higher grades inasmuch as they have already their class cards back with grades on it, lol. These are some of their greetings (written on a hard paper) to me on World’s Teachers’ Day:
…” Ma’am, Happy Teachers’ Day. I miss my mom every time I see you. May our good Lord bless you with so many years you can continue to be a blessing to other people. Thank you so much for the precious time you have given us. i will always be indebted to you for helping us overcome our learning difficulties in your subjects. Your adopted son , N.O.”
=” Thank you for teaching me not only about Mathematics but also about life. I hope you will be my teacher again. Yours truly, MS.G.”
=” Thank you so much for being a nice, gorgeous and very loving teacher to us. We are very blessed that God send us a teacher like you. Hope that you stay healthy and beautiful as always. =”Thank you for being like a mother to us. Sometimes, we your students lose hope and self confidence but you are there to inspire us and to give us some more chances. Sorry for being stubborn sometimes, for asking a lot of questions and for being noisy hhehe. We love you! CC”
(If only I can accommodate all your comments and messages, I would love to….anyhow, I love you all, too, my dearest students. Remember all your teachers have been a part and parcel of your personality. Each one must have contributed on making yourselves what and who you have become now. See you again sometime in school. Thank you so much for all kind words. I am touched.)
