Planning to Visit Sweden

♦

Can you believe that we are already on the last week of November? How time flies. During this time of the year last year, my best friend who currently lives in Sweden visited us and stayed with us for a week. She left with an invitation for me and my husband to go and visit her in Sweden “next year” – which is this year.

I wish I could find time to take a vacation in Sweden. I saw many pictures of the beautiful places in Sweden, especially in Stockholm where my best friend resides now. Check out the picture below which was taken in Stockholm. The view is breathtaking, isn’t it?

Hopefully, I could visit Sweden next year. I’m not sure if I could learn Swedish, the official language of Sweden that is spoken by the majority of its inhabitants, in time for my travel but it is sure a relief to know that most of the people there know how to speak English. Besides, since my friend speaks Swedish fluently, I do not need to hire the services of a translation company, right?

Speaking of languages, do you know that mandarin Chinese is the most widely spoken language in the world? Spanish comes next while English is at the third place only. Hindi is at the fourth place, followed by Arabic at the fifth place. The other five languages that are among the top 10 languages in the world are Portuguese, Bengali, Russian, Japanese, and Javanese.

Aside from English, do you know any of the languages above? Say “hi” to me in the comments section below using the language that you know.
