All that I am or hope to be- I owe it to my angel mother.– Abraham Lincoln
Similarly, I can say that I am what I am now because of, most of all, my mother. Moreover, “my mother is she who can take the place of all others but whose place no one else can take”.
Thanks be to God! Yesterday was a happy day for my family when the neurosurgeon announced that cranial operation was ruled out after knowing the result of the latest CT scan of my mother. Two days ago, she collapsed and bumped her head on the pavement wherein she incurred an internal bleeding in her head. This morning, she has been transferred to a private room from the ICU (Intensive Care Unit) of the hospital. She is now recuperating. By the way, she is 77 years old.
Consequently, our trip home from the hospital has been a calm and quiet one as we listened to beautiful music over a portable yet powerful amplifier. Get well soon Mother. We love you so.
