Would you know my name…

♦

Would you know my name if I saw you in heaven?–

Maybe the younger generations of today  are not so familiar with the song, Tears in Heaven- the song of the great guitar player-living legend who is now in his fifth decade as a solo artist  and who has remained a relevant and creative force in music industry-  Eric Clapton.

I have been his devoted fan right from the days when his songs became popular, especially the ” I Shot the Sheriff” and “Tears in Heaven”. He has been  a prolific guitar player throughout the 80’s. I like so much the way he plays the guitar. They say that his “custom-shop” strat  guitars with the mid boost pick-ups were probably moded according to his specs. ( Mine? Well, I dream of having a new guitar from one of the classic dean guitars but it would be great if I could partner that with a ac4 limited edition vox amp— just a wishful thinking. lol)

Playing guitar is my passion. I started playing during my high school days and continue even until now  teaching myself more techniques during my leisure times. My musical journey continues and my  learning will never stop- it’s a delightful activity.
