Laughter is still my best medicine

What do you do when your day seems monotonous and boring?

When I am away from home, I miss my family so much. To while away my time, I read books, newspapers and magazines and checkout websites like EntirelyPets Pharmacy. Rib-tickling stories and funny jokes are my best escape from solitude. One funny joke I could recall runs this way…

One man consults  an EENT on what to do with his wife who seems to have hearing disorder. Inasmuch as the patient is not present, the doctor suggests : Talk to your wife while you are about five meters behind her. If she doesn’t reply, move closer to about four meters behind and ask. If she still doesn’t reply, keep moving closer to her asking the question until she responds.

Upon reaching home, as the man approaches his wife (who is five meters away from him), he asks, ” What’s cooking , dear?”. He hears no reply so he  moves a meter nearer every time he repeats the question. Finally he stands beside her and asks same question. Alas she replies, ” For the fifth time, I said CHICKEN, you deaf, grrr!!!

The story ends that way but may I add this ending…”and they lived happily ever after”. After all, a deaf man will never care about a nagging wife, huh.
