Everyone needs a bathroom in their home, but different people use it for different periods of time. Some spend hours soaking in the bath and others just jump in and out of the shower which fits into their busy lifestyle. However, there are certain tips and tricks you can employ with your bathroom to make it a nice place to be, regardless of how long you spend there. It is a place you and your family use, as such, it should be a place you are proud of and enjoy spending your time. You may have already thought of some of these points, but the others can help you change your bathroom into a place you would happily spend hours relaxing.
Bathing
You can make the most of your bathroom by deciding on whether you and your family use a bath or not. If you do not, you may want to consider removing it entirely and just using the shower. This gives your bathroom more room for you to implement other things. You could have a much larger shower for instance. It can be hard choosing which type of bath you need, but consider what you like to do. If you just use it as a medium to clean yourself, go for something functional, but if you like it for relaxation you could use something bigger and better, something Jacuzzi like with underwater jets. Of course, this is all dependent on the size of your bathroom, but you can usually make some movements and concessions to get the right bath for you. You could even consider getting it made specially, though this can be expensive.
Heated Towel Rail
This is an excellent addition to any bathroom. No longer will you get out of the bath or shower and be freezing cold. Now, you can get out to a warmer room. It acts as a radiator in some senses, and really benefits bathrooms in which it gets cold fast, or bathrooms in part of the world that get super cold during the winter. The benefit comes with heating the towels. If the towels are on the rail, then they will be nice and warm when you grab them to dry yourself, ensuring you do not lose your temperature. They can increase the comfort of your bathroom and make going in the winter something you no longer need to fear. You can get towel rails of all kinds. Again, make sure you find one that suits your bathroom and remember that there may be certain plumbing costs involved if you want to move the rail around, as it needs to be connected to the heated water system that comes from your boiler.
TV
They are everywhere else, so why not the bathroom. You can put it up high on the wall and watch it while you relax in the bath. If you live a stressful life this can be something that really enables you to spend extended periods in the bath relaxing. Make sure the TV is not above the bath, and that it the bathroom has good ventilation so the condensation cannot render the TV faulty.
