Shower Curtains

Many people think that shower curtains remain clean simply through the amount of water and cleaning products (such as shampoo and shower gel) that they come into contact with. However, they could not be more wrong! Being in persistent contact with water and a damp atmosphere means that shower curtains often begin to collect mildew and harbor bacteria. You need to take action against this! Wash your shower curtains regularly. They can be placed in your washing machine. Simply put them in with a couple of towels and wash on a gentle cycle. Then hang them back up and allow them to drip dry. Do not put them in the tumble dryer, as they could melt.

Air Ducts

Air ducts are the passages associated with the HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) systems within your home. They are essentially the pathways that allow heated or cooled air to travel from one room of your property to another. Now, you might not think all too often about cleaning these. Who can blame you? The passages are out of sight and definitely out of mind, so it is not all too surprising that they are often neglected. Many people will also think that dirt cannot get inside of them, as the passages are situated behind walls and ceilings. However, over time, they accumulate a lot of dust and other contaminants. You don’t want this to be swept back out into your home with the airflow that goes through them constantly, do you? Therefore, if you have not cleaned them out for a while, it may be time to call in the professionals. Call in help from people who have plenty of experience in air duct cleaning. They will offer high-quality service at a good price!

Telephones

Telephones do not often have the chance to collect dust, as we use them so frequently. However, do not let their clean appearance fool you. Think of how many germs they harbor, after being pressed against different people’s faces and spit or vapor accidentally getting into the mouthpiece while people are speaking. However, you cannot wash a fun. Unsurprisingly, electronic devices and water do not mix all too well. Instead, find a soft microfiber cloth, damp the corner and gently wipe the device down. Use the dry corner of the cloth to dry the phone off.

So, there you have it! The best ways to clean some of the more neglected parts of your home. Once all of this is done, you can sit back, relax and reward yourself with a hot drinks and your favorite television show in your spotless home!
