The Apps To Download That Can Actually Make You Money

♦

With so many of us being attached to our smartphones and finding ourselves browsing the internet different apps, it might be time to start making that time do more for you. While playing games or browsing on social media sites is fine, there are plenty of apps or sites out there that can help you to be actually making money when you’re on your phone, rather than just killing time. So if you are looking to better your finances in the coming year, maybe one of these could work for you?

smartphone

iPoll

If you want to earn things from air miles to gift cards, then an app like iPoll could be what you need to do just that. By downloading the app and taking part in surveys that are relevant to you (you need to tell it a little about yourself to make them relevant), then you can earn as much or as little as you have time for.

Swagbucks

Similar to iPoll, Swagbucks is an app that you can download that helps you to earn money through completing surveys, watching videos, voting in polls, referring your friends, and shopping via referral links. You can choose where you get a gift card to, so it can be as good as cash when you get the credit for somewhere like Target or Amazon.

Stock Market Simulator

There are many apps out there if you want to trade, get into spread betting, or get involved in the stock market. An app like Stock Market Simulator gives you the chance to try before you buy, so to speak, so it can be a good thing for newbies to the stock market. You can ‘play’ a simulated version of the real stock market and try your hand at investing in virtual funds without taking on any real risk.

Slidejoy

If you are looking for a small amount of money per month (up to around $20), for doing pretty much nothing, then it pays to get the Slidejoy app. It means that you can be paid for looking ads on your phone. Your phone will get ads and you can swipe to learn more, or swipe the other way to use your phone as normal. Swiping to learn more each time helps the money to add up, even though it won’t take up much of your time. You are paid the same if you read on or just swipe, so it is all good.

Pact

If you have some health or fitness goals for the New Year, then Pact can be a good way to cash in on the goals that you have. You can log into the app and set a goal for the week, like drinking eight glasses of water a day. You can then track your progress through the app, by uploading videos or checking in at your gym through geotag, if that is a goal, for example. Each thing that you do then helps you to earn money, anything from 30 cents up to $5 per activity.
