“The world is a book and those who do not travel read only a page,” St. Augustine quotes. Traveling generates magical moments. That’s the wonderful thing about family travel. It provides you with experiences that will remain in ones memory. It is not only relaxing yourself but also releasing stress. It makes us forget our troubles.
In “My Well-traveled Daughter and Her Family,” I had mentioned that one of the things my daughter and her family enjoy is traveling across the US – from state to state. On September 4, she posted about “The Happiest Cruise That Ever Sailed Around the World.” It is one of their favorite rides when they first visited the Disneyland in California (not to be confused with Walt Disney World Resort, the world’s largest and most-visited recreational resort in Orlando, Florida which covers an area of 47 square miles) in April and the reason why they went back there in August.
Speaking of Disneyland, do you know that this theme park is located at South Harbor Boulevard in Anaheim, California USA? This popular park covers an area of 65 hectares and is owned by The Walt Disney Co. Since Disneyland is located in the west coast, Walt Disney envisioned the “Walt Disney World Resort” for the east coast. It’s just unfortunate that Walt died from lung cancer on December 15, 1966 and was not able to see the full realization of his plans for the Walt Disney World Resort.
Now the chance to experience these magical moments is ours to grab not only in places like Disneyland other theme parks but anywhere where you can enjoy spending time with your family and loved ones.. Give your family more magical moments by traveling and enjoy more quality time. Bon voyage!
