Happy New Year everyone!
‘Twas such a happy New Year celebration- what with the loud loud bang of firecrackers heard all over our place even several hours after the midnight of December 31.
The latest about the new year -related firecracker injuries in the Philippines shows almost 800 casualties. What a big bang! (joke). Seriously speaking, people have to learn the hard way despite knowing same bad experiences in the past years… but can we imagine how it is to celebrate the New Year without the noisy firecrackers?
True enough- the New Year celebration may also be very happy without the noisy “bangs”… Look and gaze up the skies (in Las Vegas, I had that wonderful experience) shining with quiet but beautiful and splendid firework displays during the eve of the new year…. and surely, the number of firecracker-related injuries will be nil.
