How many more reasons do we need to exercise?

♦

My daughter suffered from gestational high blood pressure and has been on blood pressure medicine, without lowering it to normal range even three months after her delivery. Recently, she started exercising the wii dancing games. Immediately, she saw the result- her blood pressure normalized and her reading is almost always 120/70. She was thoroughly impressed so she now exercises regularly. To be more comfortable, she’s using a pair of comfortable dancing shoes with ” super feet from best in soles”.

Physical exercise is the way to health and wellness. Dancing, walking, biking, running, etc. are all good forms of exercise. It can improve your mood, overall well-being, stamina and even sex life! It can even reduce the risk of having blood clots because not moving a lot puts you in a high risk for blood clots.

Speaking of blood clots, it also helps to not wear tight-fitting garments or socks (or stockings) in order to not constrict the flow of blood. When your trip or travel exceeds an hour, be sure to change your position often. In addition, do not cross your legs to avoid blood clots; also raise your legs 6 inches above your heart once in a while.

How about you? Do you also exercise regularly? And why not? How many more reasons do we need to exercise? Go,go,go…let’s move!

Practise breathing this way 3 to 10 times whenever you feel stressed. As you get comfortable with the exercise and know you are breathing correctly, you can do the breating exercises without using your hands. By learning deep breathing methods like the one mentioned here, you can learn to quickly lower your blood pressure.
