Make Your Bed Your Favorite Thing Ever

♦

Whether you are sick and tired of your current bed or you just want to see if you can make it any better, these tips are going to help you make your bed your favorite thing ever. Look and see what you can do!

Upcycle It

Why not upcycle your bed? You can upcycle just about anything from wood to metal. You can use decoupage, different types of paints and spray paints; anything you like to create a cool new effect. The only limit here is your imagination. You can make your bed look brand new, far more expensive, and even add more personality. No need to splash out hundreds on a new one!

Make Sure You Have the Right Blanket/Pillows/Mattress

If you are going to love your bed, then you need to make sure you have the right blanket, pillows, and mattress. Investing in things like Egyptian cotton sheets king size for your huge bed could also be a good idea. Make sure you have a suitable tog duvet for the temperature you like, and make sure your pillows/mattress offer adequate support.

Layer It Up

Layer up your bed to make it look even prettier and cozier. Add throws for texture, as well as different pillows for character and personality. Make sure it looks like you want to jump on it at the end of a long day!

Add a Canopy

Why not add a canopy to your bed? You can easily make this yourself, or buy one if you have a bigger budget. A canopy can add more privacy to your space, and help you to sleep better at nighttime. It also adds a wonderful element of luxury to your bedroom.

Make It Yourself

Ever thought about making a new bed yourself? The biggest trend now is using wooden pallets to create an amazing bed. This style of bed will add a rustic look to your bedroom, and it is your chance to practice some DIY and get creative.

Think Of Your Pet

Some people like their pets to sleep in the same room as them, sometimes even on the bed with them! However, this is not always the most comfortable (or hygienic) thing to do. If you do not want to kick your pet out, how about making sure there is a pull out drawer underneath your bed filled with a comfortable matt so they can sleep there instead.

Make It Even More Useful

There are ways you can make your bed even more useful. If you don’t have room for side tables, how about a shelf headboard? You can also make sure your bed has a storage section underneath or at least a space so you can push storage boxes underneath.

We use our beds every single night, so it only makes sense to ensure that we absolutely love the space we sleep in. You can help to make sure you fall in love with your bed every night by using these tips. If you have tips of your own, make sure you leave them below.
