In late October we begin to feel the cooler evenings. It’s winter time! Of course very cool evenings come in the month of December with fogs rolling in at night.
And yes, my favorite niece is here in our house for the weekend. We are all excited to have her here. Ask this 9-year-old fourth grade pupil her favorite subject in school and she’ll be quick to reply ,” Mathematics!”, with a sparkling smile. For Shahlah, although Math isn’t easy, she thinks it’s challenging. In our house, she likes to play interactive games in the computer with me, in my room.
Candid and intelligent , she enjoys our company . She sleeps with me in my room. When time permits, she helps clean our room, make our beds and arrange my toys.
She loves to hug the two small throw pillows which I bought lately online together with the soft Pink Down Comforter. “Great sheets,” she said of the warm and fuzzy Down Comforter. I was thrilled to see my niece enjoying her stay with us. ( I better order a new Down Comforter as a gift for her on Christmas Day.)
Draped with the Down Comforter and sipping her milk she said, “I have a chilly idea. I love homemade cake!”
So tommorow , I’ll bake her a cake. It’s a perfect way to spend our weekend together.
