My Students as Co-evangelizers

♦

Recently, we had a recollection as a culminating activity of our Religious Instruction Class. The theme was : Students as Co-evangelizers. We had three speakers for the day.  I noticed that most of the students were inattentive and were  not so focused on what the speakers were talking about.  I was surprised when their mode changed from dreamy to active when one speaker threw this question: What is the “good news”?  Most of them answered at the same time, “Snack time !”

Another part of the program that they somewhat enjoyed was the song number, a gospel singing with a guitar by one  of their fellow students. ( I was also amazed not only by the quality of the voice of the singer but by the sound of its accompaniment. The guitar was really beautiful with its hard case.)

So Lord help my students to dedicate themselves to serving God in whatever capacity You  may call them. Please give them discernment and wisdom so that they may proclaim Your goodness to all those they meet in school and in their homes so that our teachings may continue on to others around them. Thank you Lord for keeping them in your care always!
